Junior Wind Band
Rehearsals are 6-7pm on Tuesdays at Walsall Arena and Arts Centre.
The ensemble is aimed at students who have passed their Grade 1.
The Junior Wind Band is the step up from our beginner ensemble, the Fab Group. This band encourages students who have passed their Grade 1 (or students or play at this level) to join. Similar to the Fab Group, the Junior Wind Band welcomes Woodwind, Brass and Percussion students.
Along with all Music Centre groups, the Junior Wind Band performs regular concerts throughout the year, giving the young musicians fantastic opportunities to perform to friends and family, and helping them to develop confidence as a performer.
Once students have reached Grade 3, it is time to move up to the next group, Intermediate Wind Band.
