Percussion Ensemble
The Percussion Ensemble is another of our 'Project Groups' - the other being our Jazz Combo.
Formed in 2022, the Percussion Ensemble is directed by our drum teacher, Mr Firkins. Students get the opportunity to work on all sorts of rhythms and percussive grooves, not only using drum kit, but a whole variety of other percussion instruments too (see photo above of buckets and cymbals!)
The group has now performed at our summer Bandstand event, as well as at Music Centre concerts too.
Please note rehearsals are not weekly, and students will be notified when rehearsals will be taking place.
