Walsall Young Music Star is our annual music competition for young soloists who live or go to school in the Walsall Area

This year’s competition was split up into two categories:       

Walsall Young Music Star (Secondary)

Walsall Up and Coming Young Music Star (Primary - grade 3 and below)

Applicants entered the heats with a piece of music in any style or genre, but limited to a maximum  length of 3'30".  These were all judged by specialist adjudicators who gave feedback and selected the finalists. The Heats this year were held live at Walsall Arena and Arts Centre on Tuesday 27th February.

Our live final was held on Thursday 21st March 2024 at 7:00pm in the A1 auditorium at Walsall Arena and Arts Centre.

Entries for next year's competition will open in September 2024.
