Find Your Voice: Starting and Growing a Choir  

Content: Ideal for all primary school teachers who want to set up a singing group in their school or are looking for more ideas.  This session will establish where to start and how to develop your young singing voices. Useful for teachers leading choirs or singing assemblies or any teacher who would like to develop their singing technique with their class.  Through this workshop, Ellie will establish good vocal technique and repertoire for both infants and juniors, and you will learn how to prepare for your rehearsals. Secondary school colleagues could also benefit as many KS2 songs are ideal for KS3,but it should be noted that this session will contain content for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 as Ellie is a primary specialist.  You may also benefit from this content if your starting level is lower or if you are working with SEND pupils. 

Ideal for: All staff teaching music in schools and want to develop their vocal provision.
