Sharon Guy
Sharon studied clarinet and piano at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, then went on to complete a PGCE in Secondary Music Education at Birmingham University. She has been a secondary music teacher for over 30 years, most of which have been spent in Walsall Schools. Sharon is a keen performer and plays with the City of Lichfield Concert Band, Hazel Slade Big Band and the Doorknobs Band. She also plays for several music theatre companies in the orchestra on a vast variety of woodwind instruments.
Adrian Taylor
Adrian Taylor has been working as a professional trombonist, conductor, teacher and composer/arranger in the midlands for over 30 years, regularly playing for a number of orchestras, ensembles and bands. He teaches at Twycross House School, Repton School and is the conductor of Birmingham Schools’ Wind Orchestra. Adrian began playing music at the age of 7 and continued his further education at the University of Birmingham. Following his graduation Adrian remained in the midlands making a living playing and teaching, before being given the opportunity to play with the Natal Philharmonic Orchestra in South Africa, where he remained for two years.
