MiniMusE
Mini MusE meet 3 times a year – once a term – 4.30pm – 6pm at varying primary school locations across Walsall. The Music Service leads identical agendas for 2 meetings in the same week to enable more staff to attend. These are always on Mondays or Thursdays in the same week, once a term.
Our meeting dates for 2024-25 are:
Autumn: Mon 23rd & Thursday 26th September 2024 – Watling Street Primary, 4.30pm – 6pm. Host: Suzanne Norman. CPD Focus – Darbar Music (scheme/resource for teaching whole class piano and northern Indian classical music)
Spring: Mon 20th & Thursday 23rd January 2025 – Fibbersley Primary Academy, 4.30pm – 6pm. Host: Nicola Day. CPD Focus – Classroom Gamelan
Summer: Mon 19th & Thursday 22nd May 2025 – Lindens Primary, 4.30pm – 6pm. Host: Luke Wilson. CPD Focus – Assessment
