Theme – To write a song for the end credits of a fictional film based on the TV series Twin Peaks.
Points to help in shaping the lyrics

- Construct a meaningful chorus/hook to which all verses can lead towards
- Verses should move the story forward
- Your lyric could follow the story of the film OR be shaped by the character of the lead protagonist

Twin Peaks
Synopsis
Twin Peaks is a picture-perfect town on the surface, but there's a great darkness bubbling underneath. That darkness explodes with the murder of schoolgirl Laura Palmer, whose body is found near the river, wrapped in plastic. Her death brings Special Agent Dale Cooper to town, who links her murder to that of a girl called Teresa Banks he investigated one year earlier.
Cooper begins to peel back the layers of secrets and lies while simultaneously falling in love with Twin Peaks' laid back way of life, sheltered by its tall Douglas Firs. The suspects pile up and you get the impression that in a town like Twin Peaks, no-one is innocent.
Psychiatrist Dr Derek Jacoby is creepiness personified. Meanwhile, Sarah has a terrifying vision of a long-haired man, her father Leland is falling apart, and the parasitic spirit BOB (who inhabits various characters) is eventually seen as the murdering villain rather than the hosts he inhabits.
In a film of increasing (and more and more weird) suspects, the story ends unsatisfactorily with more questions than answers.
