September is the month of the Piano and this year we hosted a brand new event, The Piano Spotlight. This event was designed to give a performance platform to some of the young talented pianists from around the Walsall area. It was a great evening of music with all of our Pianists performing exceptionally well.
The event also allowed us to form a new partnership with the Piano Department of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. We were delighted to be joined by Daniel Browell, the Associate Head of Keyboard at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Daniel shared his thoughts on all of the performances and also gave a talk on what students could expect should they wish to study at a conservatoire.
We were also joined by two current students at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire who treated us to performances.
We once again would like to congraulate all of our performers and extend our thanks to our guests from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Watch this space for our next spotlight event.
