Walsall Music Education Hub is renowned for its high quality music provision and resides in the Walsall Arena and Arts Centre (formerly Forest Arts Centre). Providing the rhythm of life to everything from jazz to samba from heavy metal to Indonesian folk music, Walsall Music Education Hub is the place to come to listen, learn, play and enjoy music. We offer too, a range of musical opportunities for Looked After Children, please contact us for more details.
Arts Council England provide a network of 122 music education hubs across England, ensuring that every child aged 5-18 has the opportunity to sing and learn a musical instrument, and to perform as part of an ensemble or choir. It also allows young people to take their talent further - this might be through local ensembles or partnerships with other music organisations.
Music education hubs work in partnership with other local music organisations, creating a joined up music education provision for children and young people, both in and out of school. We offer strong partnerships with local schools, music organisations, practitioners and communities to provide quality music education across the whole of Walsall - delivering great value for money.
